2012 OG Class

NFL Draft Analyst
QB | RB | WR | TE | OT | OG | C | DE | DT | LB | DB

David DeCastro, Stanford
Ht: 6-5 Wt: 312
40 time: 5.14
Hands down, my best guard in this class. DeCastro is strong, tough, and quick with his feet. He's got the NFL size and the talent that suggests he will be a first round draft pick. He was an All-PAC-10 first teamer last season and if he continues to improve he will be a first round pick for sure. The scary thing is I believe he's got room to get even better.

Brandon Washington, Miami
Ht: 6-4 Wt: 320
40 time: 5.12
He was a first team All-ACC last year and a strong leader on the Miami offensive line. He is a very strong and punishing run blocker but needs work on pass blocking and overall technique. Currently my number OG but Jones is right behind him.

Barrett Jones, Alabama
Ht: 6-5 Wt: 311
40 time: 5.08
A 2 year starter for the Crimson tide; Jones is one of the more experienced offensive linemen for Alabama. He is very strong at the point of attack and has a solid base. He was a first team All-SEC and a third team All-American last season. Won the Jerry Duncan "I like to practice" award at Alabama last season.

Kelechi Osemele, Iowa St.
Ht: 6-5 Wt: 335
40 time: 5.36
Very powerful run blocker; but not very athletic and often gets beat by quicker and stronger opponents. He uses his hands well but needs to get stronger and work on staying low when engaged with defenders. He plays OT at Iowa St. but he will need to move inside in the NFL. He needs to make some major improvements this season if he wants to be considered as a top prospect.

Kevin Zeitler, Wisconsin
Ht: 6-4 Wt: 312
40 time: 5.21
Another good Wisconsin linemen. Zeitler is a big and experienced linemen that has shown great improvement last year. He was an All-Big Ten honorable mention.

Ryan Miller, Colorado
Ht: 6-8 Wt: 310
40 time: 5.25
A massive guard who knows how to use his hands very well, which is a huge plus for a guy his size. He also has a good amount of experience under his belt.

Stephen Good, Oklahoma
Ht: 6-6 Wt: 299
40 time: 5.09
One of the most talented interior linemen in his class; Good excels at run blocking. He does however; need to improve on his pass blocking skills and consistency.

Cordy Glenn, Georgia
Ht: 6-5 Wt: 330
40 time: 5.28
Glenn is a 3 year starter with great blocking skills. Glenn has potential, but he needs to show that he can take it to the next level this season. He is currently a mid round prospect.

Lonnie Edwards, Texas Tech
Ht: 6-4 Wt: 322
40 time: 5.16
Edwards was an All-Big XII second teamer last season. He brings a good amount of potential and experience to the table for NFL teams.

Jaymes Brooks, Virginia Tech
Ht: 6-2 Wt: 298
40 time: 5.14
All-ACC second team last season. I will have more analysis on him throughout the season.

Kevious Watkins, South Carolina
Ht: 6-4 Wt: 325
40 time: 5.27
A monsterous guard who tranfered to South Carolina last season. I was impressed with his ability to make a quick transition to South Carolina so I am excited to see what improvements he has made for this year.

Chris Jacobson, Pittsburgh
Ht: 6-3 Wt: 290
40 time: 5.13
A very talented lineman who has a history of injuries. Last season he played pretty well and was able to stay healthy, so hopefully he can repeat that this season.

Joel Foreman, Michigan St.
Ht: 6-4 Wt: 310
40 time: 5.30
A guard with a respectable amount of experience. Foreman has talent but doesn't wow scouts. He needs to really step it up this season.

Art Forst, Rutgers
Ht: 6-8 Wt: 310
40 time: 5.30
A massive and very versatile lineman for Rutgers. Forst can play both guard and tackle positions.

Trevor Robinson, Notre Dame
Ht: 6-5 Wt: 300
40 time: 5.20
He's got the size, but now needs to step it up on the field t really improve his draft stock.

James Wilson, Florida
Ht: 6-3 Wt: 315
40 time: 5.07
Wilson has a great amount of talent and potential. He is very quick and has a strong punch. I expect him to rise this season.

Austin Pasztor, Virginia
Ht: 6-7 Wt: 315
40 time: 5.28

Robert Griffin, Baylor
Ht: 6-6 Wt: 335
40 time: 5.23
Former JUCO transfer from Navarro College.

Lucas Nix, Pittsburgh
Ht: 6-6 Wt: 305
40 time: 5.19
Started at OT but was moved to OG after a season. He is a mid to late round pick now, he needs to prove he can be a tough interior lineman.

Rokevious Watkins, South Carolina
Ht: 6-4 Wt: 340
40 time: 5.30
Transfer from Georgia Military after the 08 season. Started all 14 games last year at guard.

Antoine McClain, Clemson
Ht: 6-6 Wt: 330
40 time: 5.30

Tray Allen, Texas
Ht: 6-4 Wt: 310
40 time: 5.08
Fifth year starter for the Longhorns at the guard and tackle position. Missed the 2010 season with a foot injury.

Ken Plue, Purdue
Ht: 6-7 Wt: 355
40 time: 5.38
A huge lineman who is a mauler in the running game. He has room for much improvement though.

David Spurlock, Florida St.
Ht: 6-4 Wt: 300
40 time: 5.14
This will be his 4th year starting at guard for the Seminoles. He is obviously very experienced and is a strong run blocker.
