You know whats sad?  Dom Capers is on the verge of landing a superstar in Reggie Bush and he won't even be there to coach him.  You know Texans' management should be thanking Capers for putting the team in that position.  Instead they are probably going to fire him.  Is that really fair?  I mean calling Kris Brown to muff a kick on the last play of the game was absolutely brilliant.  On Draft day, when Reggie becomes a Texan, all those fans should be thanking Capers.  Do you think the 49ers were really that bad last season?  No!  They wanted Matt Leinart.  Well, I guess that kind of backfired on them.

The college bowls are coming.  And like many of you obsessive couch potatoes I will try to watch all 27 games.  Yes, I know there are 28 games, but should I really have to count Arkansas State and Southern Miss as a bowl game?  I rather watch an NBA game.

Dan Hawkins, congrats on the Colorado job.  I hope Coach Hawkins is as successful coaching on green turf as he is on blue turf.  It is a big transition, but I think Coach Hawkins can do it.

I have been debating this question-  Is it a turn on for a girl to be a sports fan?  Part of me wants a woman to be a huge sports fan.  Knowing all the players, stats, etc.  But another part of me wants a woman who lets me watch football with the guys while she goes out shopping.  It is a question I have long debated.  People assume because I love football that I would want a football fanatic girlfriend.  But in all honesty, I might want the exact opposite.  I mean would I really want to be on a date and spend the whole time debating if the Vikings should trade Daunte Culpepper.  This question could also answer why I have such bad luck with women.

So Ron Artest asked to be traded.  Well maybe the Pacers should listen to my suggestion.  Trade him, but not to an NBA team.  Trade him to some basketball team in Siberia.  Wouldn't that be cool.

Is is ironic that the Paterno-Bowden matchup is in South Florida?

You know the Cincinnati Bengals are back, they have a new hit single, check it out.

I'll be back for more, I just got a thing called writer's block. I totally need a muse.  That reminds me, Lisa Guerrero is in the January issue of Playboy.
