Michael Abromowitz's Column

Did you think it was ironic that a Cadillac was on Ford Field after the Super Bowl?

Sunday night had so much drama.  Did any of you see Grey's Anatomy?  Talk about drama.  Wish the Super Bowl could have been as good.

Did anyone see that Burger King commercial at the Super Bowl?  Let me rephrase that, the Burger King musical.  Talk about 60 seconds of pure torture.  Burger King needs to know who its viewers are.  The commercial might have worked if it was on the Oxygen network.

Anyone see the Grammy's on Wednesday?  I saw about 1/4 of the show.  After 3 hours, I could not watch anymore.  I mean do the Grammys really need an award for every specific genre?  Even Senator Barack Obama won a Grammy for Best Spoken Word Album.

If Obama became the President in the future he would not even be the first president with a Grammy.  Bill Clinton has won two.

I always need an excuse to put a pretty lady on my website (supposedly sex sells).  Well does anyone watch Two and a Half Men?  If you have then you are familiar with Emmanuelle Vaugier.   Check out Maxim for more pics.  I heard since she has been on the show the ratings have skyrocketed.   Maybe just a coincidence!

I get crticized for not talking about enough football.  Well I apologize, but sometimes football is not that funny to talk about.  Do I really want to talk about the refs at the Super Bowl?  Or talk about upcoming free agency?  I believe most of my readers would prefer to read about Emmanuelle Vaugier (or at least look at her).

The Cincinnati Bengals signed QB Doug Johnson the other day.  And I know what all of you are thinking:  another Johnson.  After hearing this news, Cedric the Entertainer quickly thought about shooting Johnson Family Vacation 2 in Cincinnati.  But then Cedric's publicist quickly reminded him that the first movie was tortuous enough for viewers.

The Broncos have interest in both Terrell Owens and Ricky Williams, but would only take one.  It kind of reminds me of a car metaphor.  It is like choosing between two really nice SUVs, but with really crappy gas mileage.  The SUV is nice and will perform well on the road, but you are going to have to be willing to pay a lot for gas.

If you did not understand the above metaphor- consult a mechanic.

Well I am out, I have a date with Emmanuelle.  No I am just kidding, she is not that lucky!
