Round 2

32. Miami Dolphins – Joe Flacco, QB, Delaware
I love Flacco and his big arm and ability to read defenses. To heck with the small school thing. I think this is an awful pick, but doesn’t seem like Parcells really sold on Beck.

33. St. Louis Rams – Sam Baker, OT, USC
Get it done on the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball if you want to win.

34. Atlanta Falcons – Brandon Flowers, VT, CB

They have to replace hall so they get the dynamic flowers, another VT alum for the ATL.

35. Kansas City Chiefs – Anthony Collins, OT, Kansas
Have to protect Croyle. Makes missing out on Long seem a little easier to deal with.

36. New York Jets – Antoine Cason, CB, Arizona
Have to bookend last year’s no.1 Revis. Cason helps immediately.

37. Atlanta Falcons – Pat Sims, DT, Auburn
Missing Dorsey is OK since they add Simms here. Suddenly very deep and young in Atlanta.

38. Baltimore Ravens – Brian Brohm, QB, Louisville
Boller, Troy Smith, Steve McNair. Enough said. Good value here as well.

39. San Francisco 49ers – Curtis Lofton, ILB, Oklahoma
Another MLB in that 3-4 to go next to Willis would be perfect. Groves works here as well.

40. New Orleans Saints – Reggie Smith, DB, Oklahoma
Desperately need upgrade here and at DT. Smith is a good value here.

41. Buffalo Bills – James Hardy, WR, Indiana
Good compliment to Lee Evans. Not a burner, but big and knows how to get open.

42. Denver Broncos – Dre Moore, DT, Maryland
The old Browns didn’t get it done so its time to try something new. Moore is an impact guy right away.

43. Carolina Panthers – Jamaal Charles, RB, Texas
Williams is not the answer full time and even if he is, there’s nobody behind him. Good value.

44. Chicago Bears – Mario Manningham, WR, Michigan
Berrian and Muhammad are both gone. They have to do something.

45. Detroit Lions – Quentin Groves, DE, Auburn
Edwards left, Rogers is out, they need a pass rush on the other side and get a good one here. Being a tweener shouldn’t hurt him.

46. Cincinnati Bengals – Donnie Avery, WR, Houston
Reminds me a lot of Henry in explosiveness but not rap sheet. They are so thin at WR it is a must in the first three rounds.

47. Minnesota Vikings – Lawrence Jackson, DE, USC
Everyone is happy, TJ got his WR and the D got their pass rush. A top notch draft thus far.

48. Atlanta Falcons – Carl Nicks, OT, Nebraska
Everywhere is a spot of need except RB at this point, take the BPA at a spot you haven’t already drafted.

49. Philadelphia Eagles – Early Doucet, WR, LSU
Brown and Curtis get help along with LJ. Now McNabb has a lot of weapons and no excuses. Is this what Philly management wants?

50. Arizona Cardinals – Chris Johnson, RB, East Carolina
Edge is slowing down and they could use a burner to match the identity of their offense.

51. Washington Redskins – Andre Caldwell, WR, Florida
They have to get some help on the outside and having gotten their DE in round 1, they can get Moss the compliment they thought Randle El was.

52. Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Chad Henne, QB, Michigan
Garcia is aging and upset with management about his contract situation. Henne has big time NFL ability, but is inconsistent.

53. Pittsburgh Steelers – Chilo Rachal, G, USC
O-Line depth is a must after losing Faneca and Rachal could step in right away.

54. Tennessee Titans – Patrick Lee, CB, Auburn
They need a WR and also to replace Pac Man Jones. With no WR here worth the pick, Lee is the man.

55. Seattle Seahawks – Dustin Keller, H-Back, Purdue
Could well go higher but could slip to here. A good value here that fills a need.

56. Green Bay Packers – Trevor Laws, DT, Notre Dame
Even with drafting Harrell last year, they need some depth on the line with the loss of Williams. Laws will do that and could play a little end as well in spots.

57. Miami Dolphins – Martellus Bennett, TE, Texas A&M
I think he is the top TE  A good fit in Miami.

58. Jacksonville Jaguars – Josh Barrett, S, Arizona St.
Blazed 40 times and the Jags need some depth there. A scary secondary taking shape in Jacksonville.

59. Dallas Cowboys – Ray Rice, RB, Rutgers
A good compliment to Barber. Could function much like MJD did in Jacksonville. Not great speed, but does a little of everything well.

60. Indianapolis Colts – Erin Henderson, MLB, Maryland
Plays faster than he times and will definitely help that run defense that has been much maligned over the course of the last couple years.

61. Green Bay Packers – Tracy Porter, CB, Indiana
Helps right away in the secondary where they need some youth and some depth.

62. New England Patriots – Xavier Adibi, OLB, VT
Gives some youth to an aging LB core in NE.

63. New York Giants – Earl Bennett, WR, Vanderbilt
Toomer is aging and while Tryee’s catch was nice, he isn’t that guy for the long haul. Good size and will learn from Burress well.
