TFE: What is your accurate height, weight and 40 time? Burton: 6-0 190 lbs 40 Time: 4.37
TFE: Describe your game in three words or less. Burton: Passion, Technique, and Playmaker
TFE: What do you feel is your greatest strength as a football player and what area do you feel you need to improve in? Burton: My biggest strengths are my awareness and football IQ. My areas I need improvements in are my field vision.
TFE: Who are some of the best players you have faced during your college football career? Burton: Andy Dalton, QB, TCU; Julio Jones, WR, Alabama
TFE: What is your greatest football moment to date? Burton: Game against BYU where I blocked a field to help win the game.
TFE: Did you have a favorite pro team growing up? Favorite player? Burton: The Saints. I liked Eddie George.
TFE: How instrumental was Coach Whittingham in your progression? Burton: Very, he taught me not only to be a great football player but to be a better human. He taught me good time management and good decision making. He was a big influence on me.
TFE: What have former college teammates now in the NFL told you about preparing for the league? Burton: They told me not to have any regrets, take it seriously, put time into preparing. If you do everything to the best of your ability you cannot fail.
TFE: How have you been preparing for the NFL Draft? Burton: lifting, mentally preparing, psychological training, learning how to be a professional, my 40 time and my overall CB skill set.
TFE: Do you have any goals in mind when it comes to the NFL Draft? Burton: the certain spot where I want to be drafted. If I go to the Combine and do what I need to do, I can reach it.
TFE: What is the one thing you will most miss at college? Burton: Fans, community, and my teammates.
TFE: When you get your first professional paycheck what is the first thing you will buy? Burton: No idea, probably put it in the bank.
TFE: Any pregame rituals? Food? Music? Burton: I eat a snickers before every game.
TFE: What is something football fans may not know about you? Burton: I am a cooker. It is something I want to get into after football.
TFE: Do you read mock drafts or listen to what draft experts have to say? Burton: Not really, only what I have seen on ESPN on tv.
TFE: If you could have dinner with one person, dead or alive, who would it be and why? Burton: Martin Luther king
