Jeremy NavarreNFL Draft Prospect Interview: Jeremy Navarre, DE, Maryland
by Michael Abromowitz
Senior Writer
2/28/09

Jeremy Navarre played in 50 games during his college career, and started 48 of those games.  This past senior season he played the first 9 games at defensive tackle, and the last 4 at defensive end.  Navarre originally came to Maryland to play fullback, but was moved him to defensive end where he became the first true freshman to start a season-opener in the Ralph Friedgen era. One thing scouts are going to love about Navarre is his experience and versatilitiy to play end and tackle.  Navarre also can play DE in a 3-4, a position very difficult to fill.  Navarre wasn't invited to the Combine, but his 50 games of videotape should will show how beneficial he was to Maryland the past four seasons.
